Katheryn Winnick
Katheryn Winnick is a Canadian actor, producer and director from Canada. She starred on the critically acclaimed, Emmy-winning television series Vikings which was produced by MGM, The History Channel which won her a variety of awards. Winnick has also helmed episodes of Vikings in 2020. Entertainment Weekly said that "Lagertha" was the "most exciting feminist character in television." Her performance as the fiery shieldmaiden has earned her a number of notable awards, including an Women's Image Network award for Best Actress in a Drama Series in 2018, and a nomination for the Critic's Choice Award for Best Supporting Actress in an Drama Series and in addition to a Canadian Screen Award nomination for the best performance by a lead Dramatic Actress (2014) also The Best Actress in the drama Series through The Women's Image Network nominations in 2014, 2015, and 2016 and she received a Golden Maple Award nomination for the best Actress in a TV Series. Katheryn earned her Serendipity Film Award of Excellence in the Banff World Media Festival 2015. Katheryn was selected to serve as a member of the jury for the upcoming Cannes Series Festival.
