The actress was extremely popular in this role, but she felt that portraying Mary Camden in the negative light would hinder her ability to act. To alter the image, she appeared as a model on Gear cover in a partially dressed. Jessica's actions caused quite a bit of debate among her followers. Her performance in the 6th season brought her out of 7th Heaven. In the film Ulee's Gold, she gained fame for her amazing acting. In fact, this movie was awarded her the Best Supporting Actress of the Year. Summer Catch, her comedy film, shows off her impressive acting talents. Although she delivered an impressive appearance, Rules of Attraction didn't get much notice. In the following years, audiences were drawn to her role as a character in The Texas Chainshaw Massacre. The suspense films she has acted in has shown her to be an actor of serious stature.

Aspen Ladd started her combat sport career when she was 14 years old. Aspen Ladd was trained in BJJ, kickboxing, boxing and wrestling prior to making her professional debut at WCFC in the age group of 18. Ladd took advantage of this win and continued her three-fight win streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents in the opening round in each fight.
